Historic Talbott Street Home-Hot Tub and Fire Pit!
About the property
We are so excited to share our historic home with you! We are minutes from downtown and walking distance to great restaurants, a brewery, coffee shop and ice cream shop. One of our favorite spaces is the front porch, it's a great place to relax! If you head out back you can enjoy our hot tub and fire pit. Our home has lots of character but please remember, it's very old! : ) The house has some squeaks and the floors show wear but we think you will find it a great place to create memories!
Our home has 2 beds and 2 baths with plenty of room for hanging out. One bedroom has an office attached if you need to get some work done!
You will have access to the whole house, front porch, back yard and hot tub! The backyard is fenced in. There is an apartment out back but they enter through the alley and will be in a different, fenced in space.
Herron–Morton Place Historic District is known for its collection of late 19th- and early 20th-century residential architecture. Many north–south streets in Herron—Morton (including Delaware, Alabama, and New Jersey streets) originally featured large esplanades down the center, adding to the spacious feeling of the lots and large homes.[3] Only New Jersey Street retains the original esplanades, providing an example of what the northern half of the neighborhood looked like
You are close to Bocca, Baby’s, Loco, The Foundry Coffee shop, Liftoff Ice Cream, Sushi and Mashcraft Brewery. These are within walking distance!
Please note that our home is 132 years old! It is a little creaky and has a few quirks here and there. It’s by no means perfect but does have its own character that we really love. We are so happy to share it with you!

Lovely place to stay in Indiana.
Josh’s house was perfect for our weekend stay! It was a quick and easy drive to the Indianapolis Motor Speedway. As he states in the description, the house is old. And it comes with old house quirks, which I really loved. It’s been updated where needed, but still has plenty of old house charm. Everything was clean and nicely kept. We enjoyed the board games, and the cozy loft! I wish our schedule had allowed us to utilize the waffle and coffee bar, those are nice touches! The neighborhood felt safe, and I never had a problem finding a close parking spot on the street. We would stay again!
Josh's place was everything he described!! The home was cozy, welcoming, clean, the kitchen was well stocked, and all linens were clean. It was close enough to everything we wanted to do. The neighborhood was quiet. Would definitely recommend and would definitely stay again!!
